Even as an invited guest, she is often summoned to troubleshoot the unexpected. All wedding guests have sewing kits in their handbags, right?
Allison is a 'boy mom' to two little guys who exercise her ability to stay on her toes. She has a degree in Interior Design from Endicott College and a robust background as a “maker” in many different mediums.
Many event professionals come from a food & beverage or hospitality background. Allison has over 20 years of experience in the Architecture & Design industry, which requires uncompromised organization, juggling of clients, consultants, schedules, invoices, and of course, aesthetics. She is highly in-tune to spatial requirements and guest experiences within event spaces.

We are incredibly observant, precise, and highly capable of troubleshooting. A background in design means we are inherently in tune to detail, balance, and spatial awareness - whether it's a table full of photo frames or rows of parked cars.
With a robust background as "makers", we've sewn torn zippers, fixed necklaces, and made impromptu signage without hesitation.
As "doers", we resolve spilled drinks, wrap sweaters on chilly grandmas, adapt to situations, and communicate in real time with other vendors without needing to be asked.
A true sign of a great event coordinator is being ever-present but invisible at the same time. This role requires anticipating next steps and making split second decisions on when, and when not to act. The relationship between Coordinator and DJ / Photographer / Banquet Director and the like is as important as the relationship with you.
